That's what The Fun Girls Club is all about.

We're a Burnley based community charity working to bring people together through a diverse mix of joyful, inclusive events. Every penny of profit we make will be going towards making Christmas magical for children in need and other individuals spending the festive season alone in hospital.

To bring the community together through fun, inclusive, and accessible events that everyone can enjoy, regardless of age, background, or budget.

To help make Christmas magical for those who need it the most, primarily children facing hardship and individuals spending the festive season alone in hospital, through our Operation Christmas Magic gifting project.

To stand alongside causes close to our hearts. From time to time we organise one off fundraising events in support of other charities, including those working in cancer research and suicide prevention, with every penny raised going directly to them.

Everything we do comes back to one core, but simple, belief: that community, joy, and kindness can change lives. Even in small ways, one Christmas gift at a time.

Our Heart

The Fun Girls Club exists for four reasons:

To create a warm, welcoming space for new parents and carers who may be feeling isolated. This is a tenet close to our hearts that we are working toward for the future, because nobody should feel alone, especially in those overwhelming early months.

*This amount displayed reflects funds raised to date, minus any event running costs. We believe in full transparency, and a small proportion of funds raised may be allocated to cover the costs of running our events, ensuring we can continue to bring the community together. Everything remaining goes directly into Operation Christmas Magic.

Our Code of Conduct

The Fun Girls Club exists to bring people together. That only works when everyone who walks through our doors feels safe, respected, and welcome. With that in mind, here's where we draw the line, without exception.

Zero tolerance for hate

We will not tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism, or any other form of discrimination or harassment at our events, online, or in any interaction with The Fun Girls Club. This includes "jokes" or any behaviour and comments made "in fun". It doesn't matter who you are, how long you've been coming to our events, or how your comments were meant - if it makes someone else feel unsafe or disrespected, it isn't welcome here.

The steps we'll take

Anyone behaving in this manner will be asked to leave immediately, with no refund.
This applies equally to inappropriate behaviour towards women, children, or any other attendee (including unwanted physical contact, inappropriate comments, or anything that makes another person feel unsafe).
Should the behaviour amount to a criminal offence, we will report it to the police.
We will always support the person affected, and will never ask them to "let it go" to keep the peace.

Why we're this direct

We'd rather lose a ticket sale than have someone leave one of our events feeling unsafe. The Fun Girls Club is a place for everyone to feel safe, and "everyone" only means something if our values are enforced.
